Walmart Store Guide
Walmart Corporate Coupon Policy
To check out the Walmart Corporate Coupon Policy, click here. As mentioned in my Couponing 101 Guide, I strongly recommend you print off any coupon policy for the stores that you plan on shopping at and bring it with you when you go couponing. If any problems arise while you are checking out, take out the coupon policy and explain to the cashier/manager that you are doing things properly according to their coupon policy.
How to Coupon at Walmart
- Walmart accepts manufacturer's coupons; from inserts and printable coupons.
- Walmart accepts coupon overage. Coupon overage occurs when you have a coupon valued at a price higher than the product. For example, if you have a coupon worth $2 off a box of cereal. The cereal is priced at $1.75 so you would get the cereal free and $0.25 in coupon overage to go towards other items in your cart.
- Walmart price matches with select stores. You are allowed to price match an item and use a coupon on that item as well. Walmart does not have a point system or weekly sales (aside from rollbacks) like the drug stores so Walmart is one of the simplest stores to coupon at.

Walmart Savings Catcher Program
The Savings Catcher compares the prices on your receipt to advertised prices from the top stores in your area. If it finds a lower advertised price, you will get the difference on a Walmart e-gift card. You will have to submit your receipt number and date and Walmart will do the rest for you. For more details about this program, go here.
